Tajweed

This level is for students who are able to read Arabic and know the Makhaarij in detail.
At this level, students will start to add beauty to their recitation by learning certain fundamental rules of Tajweed. Our aim in this course is to help students improve their recitation of the Quran and recite fluently with the rules learned in class.

This course is divided into Two (2) levels:

  • Level One
  • Level Two
Overview
This level is for students who are able to read Arabic and know the Makhaarij in detail. In this level students will start to add beauty to their recitation by learning certain fundamental rules of Tajweed; especially the nasal sounds, with memorisation of last ten Surahs of the Quran. Our aim in this course is to help students improve their recitation of the Qur’an and recite fluently with the rules learnt in class. With this course, students will be required to attend twenty lessons and each lesson last for an hour. At the end of the course, students will be tested and awarded a certificate of attendance and completion.

This level is for students who have completed Tajweed level 1 or equivalent. Our aim in this level is to help students improve their recitation of the Qur’an and recite fluently with the new rules learnt in class.
Students will be expected to memorise selected chapters of the Qur’an with the correct rulings as they near the end of the course.
Students are required to attend twenty lessons to complete this course. Each lesson lasts for an hour. At the end, students will be tested and awarded a certificate of attendance and completion.
