The Learn Quran course is a comprehensive program designed to help students of all ages and skill levels gain a deeper understanding of the Qur’an, the central religious text of Islam.
Whether you are a beginner seeking a foundational understanding of the Qur’an or an advanced student looking to deepen your knowledge and skills, the Learn Quran course is an ideal way to learn more about this important and revered text.
Throughout the course, students will have the opportunity to study the Qur’an in detail, learning about its structure, themes, and key verses. They will also learn about the history of Islam and the role of the Qur’an in shaping the religion and its practices.
This course is divided into three (3) levels:
- Beginner
- Intermediate
- Advance
This course is for those students who wish to take their first steps into reading the Arabic script of the Qur’an. Students will learn the alphabet with correct pronunciation.
They will be able to recognise letters and vowels to read from the Qur’an
They will be provided individual support on their individual needs to improve on letter recognition, pronunciation of letters and overall flow of reading
Throughout the course, students will have the opportunity to study the Qur’an in detail, learning about its structure, themes, and key verses.
Course Outline
Lesson (1) a: Introduction to the Qur’an and word of encouragement.
b: Arabic letters
Lesson (2) Different joint shapes of Arabic letters and more practice/ exercise.

Lesson (3) Fat’ah. Vowel: ‘a’
Lesson (4) Kasrah. Vowel: ‘i’
Lesson (5) Dammah. Vowel: ‘u’
THREE LONG VOWELS
Lesson (6) Alif Maddah (Al’madd bil alif)
Lesson (7) Yaa Maddah (Al’madd bil yaa)
Lesson (8) Waaw Maddah (Al’madd bil Waaw)

There is no educational or proficiency required to enroll in this particular course
This level is for students who are able to read Arabic and know the Makhaarij in detail. In this level, students will start to add beauty to their recitation by learning certain fundamental rules of Tajweed.
The following rules will be learnt in this course:
- Noon as Saakinah/Tanween
- Meem as Saakinah
- Laam as Saakinah and Qalqalah
Our aim in this course is to help students improve their recitation of the Qur’an and recite fluently with the rules learnt in class.

Admission Requirement
This course requires students to memorise the last ten Surahs of the Qur’an with Tajweed.
This level is for students who have completed Tajweed level 1 or equivalent. Our aim in this level is to help students improve their recitation of the Qur’an and recite fluently with the new rules learnt in class.

- Rules of Raa’
